Field Trips

Farmer John’s Pumpkin Farm offers fun, engaging, and educational field trips designed to give children a hands-on experience on a working farm!

During their visit, students will learn about the life cycle of a pumpkin, discover the many different pumpkin varieties we grow, and explore how pumpkins can be so different while sharing many of the same characteristics.

The experience also includes a hayride to the pumpkin field, where each child will have the opportunity to pick their own pumpkin to take home!

Field trips are $15 per child and last approximately 1½ hours, with start times available at 9:30 AM or 11:30 AM.
